PawPad is a pet command panel for Shroud of the Avatar. It displays your pet's name, health, buffs and current stance, and shows an icon for every pet command key you have bound, grouped by Stance, Combat, Move and Other. Pressing a bound key flashes its icon and briefly displays the command in large text so you can confirm the order you gave. A separate Keys window lets you match the panel's key bindings to your own control settings, and the panel can be switched between a normal window and a borderless icon-only HUD strip that can be resized and repositioned. Settings are saved per character.

PawPad
A pet command panel for Shroud of the Avatar, by Kronic. Version 2.2.3.
PawPad shows your pet at a glance and an icon for every pet command key. Press a key and its icon flashes gold and the order shows big ("FOLLOW!"), so you can see what you just told your pet.
The game's Lua can't send pet commands, so the commands themselves still come from your binds in Options > Controls. Set PawPad's keys to match them in its Keys window.
What's on the window
- Pet name and health: green, gold or red by how hurt the pet is.
- Stance gems P / D / A: green is the active stance, red is not. Hover
a gem for its key.
- Last order: big for two seconds after you press a key.
- Command icons in rows: Stance, Combat, Move, Other. The key is in the
corner of each icon, the name under it; hover for the full name. Commands with no key aren't shown.
- Pet buffs: icons with time left; hover for the name. - / +
hides or shows them.
The window is a normal game window, so its gear button has Text Size, Window Scale, Opacity, Lock Position and Size and Reset This Window. Drag the title bar to move it, the corner to resize it: the icons scale with the window. Make it wide and the groups line up side by side; make it square or tall and they stack.
Icons-only scale: In Keys, use - / + to scale the entire borderless panel from 25% to 150% in 5% steps; 100% resets it. The setting is saved per character.
Icons only: in the Keys window, tick *Icons only: no window or background* to show just the icons and text over the game, at the window's last size. To move it, untick *Lock Status Movement* in the game's Interface options and drag its grip. Untick it to get the window back.
Show / hide
- Click the paw icon.
- Type /pawpad.
- Press its key (Num 0 unless you change it): it's listed under Keys on
PawPad's row in the Add-Ons window.
Keys window
Click a command's key, then press the key you use for it (Esc cancels, x clears). Also: show or hide the command names, Default keys, and Pet info to chat (what the game reports for your pet and its buffs).
Default keys: Num 1 Passive, Num 2 Defensive, Num 3 Aggressive, Num 4 Stop Following, Num 5 Follow, Num 6 Attack Target, Num 8 Teleport, Num 9 Stop Attacking, P Dismiss.
Notes
- The stance gem follows the last stance key you pressed (remembered across
reloads); the game doesn't always tell add-ons the pet's stance; when it does (pet info or a stance buff), PawPad uses that.
- Settings (keys, window, buffs shown) are saved per character.
